The Marina Legacy – Chapter 2.3 – The Final Goodbye
We have a new member to the Marina Household. Yorath invited his girlfriend, Graciella, to move in and she accepted!
She’s a stunning young woman and i’m so glad that Yorath has managed to find someone as special as she is.
Zoey finally gained enough courage to go and see her friends at their house again! I was so pleased for her and she enjoyed herself thoroughly.
And here she met Amy and now has a new best friend in her!

Graciella loves to play chess, she is always in the second study, playing chess! She also loves to work out, as most of the family does, and if she isn’t playing chess she will always be on the running machine!
Soon, Graciella found herself pregnant, with my grandchild! I’m so happy for her and Yorath! I can’t wait to be a Grandad!
She wasted no time in telling Yorath. He was just as excited as she was and he can’t wait to be a dad. I know he’s evil, but Graciella and their unborn baby make him so much more normal.
One night, after a hard day at work, Yorath arrived home to an surprisingly empty house. There was just a tall, stunning girl standing on the drive. As Yorath got closer, he saw a familiar blue streak in red hair.
It was very awkward to begin with, Ivy hadn’t heard about Yorath and Graciella and Yorath had no interest in telling her. They talked for a while and got to know each other more and more, and the ice between them begun to break!
In a sudden desire, Yorath kissed Ivy. He felt the spark that was between them as kids and he couldn’t believe his luck! He had two beautiful women who loved him!
They took things further and …
A few days later, Yorath was confused on who he truly loved, was it his beautiful wife who was carrying his baby? Or his teen romance who had come back?
But he was distracted by his wife giving birth to their first child!
Meet the first member of Generation 3 – Xenophilius Travers Marina!
A few days later and Zoey threw a party! We weren’t celebrating anything, but she wouldn’t tell me what it was for. Before the party, she went to Yorath and Graciella’s room and snuggled her first grandchild!
She then went round the whole house, hugging her close friends and siblings. I thought she was acting strange but put it down to the wine she had been drinking.
She came to me and kissed me. Not a romantic kiss, a fast kiss.
She then held my hands and looked deep into my eyes. I tried to look normal, but i couldn’t help but feel something was wrong!
She put her warm hand up to my cheek and pulled me closer.
“I love you Derick, and always will” she whispered in my ear.
And then in a puff of smoke, she was gone! She had left the world of the living and returned to the land of the dead. Where she thought she belonged.
I was heartbroken, I’d lost her twice now and this time it hurt the most! This time she’ had chosen to leave me.

“So have you done my maths homework, it’s in for next period?” Voldie asked.
“Yes, and your physics which is in for tomorrow morning”
“Good! I’ve got some Chemistry today and Biology”
“Ok, I’ll do those tonight”
“Yes, but remember our room is messy again so you need to clean that”
“Oh yeah!” Vince replied, looking visibly upset.
“Oh my! Look it’s Morty Goth” Voldie said with a sweet tone in his voice.
Vince looked at his brother, but Voldie was too busy staring at Morty to notice.
“Quick, he’s coming over here, move!” Voldie ordered.
“But…”
“MOVE”
Vince turned around and sitting on the table next to him, was Nicky Driver, sister of Deena.
“Oh Hi Nicky!” Vince exclaimed.
“Hi Vince” she replied, looking up from her book.
“Do you mind if I come and sit next to you?” he asked.
“Yeah sure” she replied and Vince quickly moved to sit next to her.
Just after Vince had moved, Morty came and sat down in Vince’s seat. As soon as he sat down, Voldie began to talk to him.
“Hi Morty” Voldie said, in the same sweet tone as before.
“Oh.. Hey Voldie” he replied. “How’s Victorie?”
“Oh…Er…. She’s ok, I guess” Voldie replied, the disappointment was evident in his voice.
That night it was time for Venetia to grow up and she grew into a beautiful girl. She still looks a lot like her mother but her father is still present in her face too.
“So, Dad, I was thinking now that I’m a teen you could take me on holiday like you promised?” Venetia asked sweetly.
“Aw! Vee, I would, but I’m real tired and we are trying to save at the moment”
“But you promised?!” she said, her voice getting louder and angrier.
“Hmm. Well I suppose 3 days wouldn’t hurt” Wilbur gave in.
“Thank you Daddy!” Venetia squealed hugging him.
The next day and Venetia and Wilbur had arrived in France. Wilbur had only accompanied Venetia here and had told her that he was going to be spending his time at Base Camp, relaxing, which was fine by her. She hopped on her Vespa and sped off to try and improve her Visa Level.
Venetia explored many tombs on her visit and enjoyed herself so much. Although she looked like a true girl, she didn’t mind about getting dirty or wet.
She was always working hard to try and find priceless relics or complete task for others and try and get Visa points to allow her to stay longer next time.
“I DON’T WANT TO BUY A SCULPTURE I WANT TO BUY A BOOK ABOUT RELICS!”
“And I told you that we don’t have any of those, now your abusive behaviour is offending me! So get out of my shop!”
As Venetia stormed out of the shop, the counters and cabinets began to rot and dissolve at rapid rates.
Soon, it was time for them to return home and with it, Venetia brought back all the ornaments form the tombs and displayed them in her room.
When they arrived home it was time for the Triplets to turn into Young Adults. First up was Victorie.
Then it was Vittoria Katherine Marin’s turn and she grew up looking a lot like Wilbur, even more now she was an young adult.
And last, but not least, Victoria grew up, which was something that the hospital had warned her about. She would only have to grow up one more time, but it was be extremely painful.
That night, Vittoria invited Adrian round to the house and he too had grown up in the last few days.
“Vittoria?” Adrian inquired.
“Yes?” she replied.
“Well, I wanted to know .. If maybe … you wanted to move into my new house with me?”
“Oh Adrian!” Vittoria exclaimed. “Of course I do”
Now that he knew Vittoria would be moving in with him, Adrian decided to announce another bit of news with Vittoria, he bent down upon one knee and reached into his pocket and pulled out a small blue box.
“Will you marry me, Vittoria?” he asked.
“Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!” Vittoria screamed. “YES!” she announced and beamed as Adrian took the ring from the box and slid it onto her finger.
After saying their goodbyes to the family. Vittoria and Adrian set off towards Adrian’s newly purchased house on top cliffs of Elk Cove.
Their new house was a beautiful two bedroom house on the top of the highest cliff in Elk Cove. It was a perfect house for Vittoria and Adrian and it really reflected both of their personalities.
The next day, Victorie invited Dominick round to ask him a very important question.
Dominick accepted and after they told their families, Dominick’s family informed him that they had brought him and Victorie a house on the cliffs. They both agreed to move out of their family homes and into their new home together.
Their new house was a beach house on the other side of town, on the cliff directly below Vittoria’s house.
Later that day, inspired by her sister’s engagements, Victoria decided that she too would propose to her teen love, Deena.
They gained a loan from the town bank and managed to afford a small house on the same cliff as Vittoria’s house.
That night, after all the excitement in the house about engagements and new houses, Venetia decided to escape it all and go to Egypt for the weekend. She decided to not let anyone accompany her on the trip as she would rather travel alone.
When she arrived in Egypt, Venetia went straight to the Notice Board and began to look at what she could do to improve her Visa Level in Egypt.
She was tasked with befriending some Egyptians and asking what they though about MorcuCorp. The first Sim she met was called Youssef. They got on really well and she even took down his number to keep in contact once she returned to Elk Cove.
After she returned from Egypt, Venetia decided to go for a small run along the beach and she came across a small camp of gypsies. As she ran past, she heard the old woman croak.
“$3 for a insight into your future?”
Venetia stopped running for a moment and dug her hand into her pocket to see if she had enough simoleans. She then smiled at the woman and crossed over to sit down next to her.
As soon as the woman touched Venetia’s palm, she snatched it back again after only a few seconds, as if she had been burnt, and her eyes widened. Venetia looked at the woman with shock and anticipations. The woman stared at her for a moment and then broke into a big grin.
“Now, you my dear, are the most powerful I’ve ever heard off” the old woman croaked.
“Power?” Venetia asked, her eyes widening with glee.
“Yes, my dear. Your are like me, a witch. A very, very powerful one at that” she croaked. She then reached into an old box next to her and pulled out a wand. She handed it to Venetia and explained about how to use it and then added “Your sister already has a book, that is still in her room.”
“What?! How do you know that?!” she demanded.
“We, witches, know these things. Now be gone! And, Venetia, make the decision on whether to follow light or darkness carefully, it will affect the balance of this town greatly.”
When Venetia got home, she found, just like the witch had told her, her sister’s book on the stand in her old room. She flicked through it and began work, but she was much more successful than Victorie and she produced sparks and light on her first attempt. On her fifth attempt, Venetia finally managed to make a bug disappear that was crawling up the wall.
After his sister’s success, Vince decided that he too would try his luck at getting with his love, Nicky. He invited her over one morning.
After talking with her for a while, Vince discovered that she reciprocated his feelings for her and they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
From upstairs, Voldie called out to his brother.
“Vince!! Get here!” he shouted.
When Vince arrived upstairs, Voldie smiled.
“Ah, there you are! I need you to do some Math homework for me” he ordered.
“Ah, I can’t” Vince replied. “Nicky’s here”
“Well..” Voldie hissed. “She’s going to have to go home, isn’t she?!”
Suddenly, Vince felt himself getting extremely angry, he thought it was because he was so tired of Voldie ordering him about.
“No!” he spat.
“Pardon?” Voldie asked, starting to raise his voice.
“I said No! Do it yourself”
“Vince! Don’t defy me! Just do it” Voldie tried again.
“No!” Vince insisted.
“Vince, this is your last chance. If you don’t comply with me, you will pay!”
“Oh grow up Voldie!”
Vince returned downstairs and sat down on the sofa with Nicky and began playing some video games with her.
“What did Voldemort want?” she asked him.
“Oh nothing” he replied.
Later that night, and Vince decided to invite Morty Goth round and try to cheer him up a bit. When he came round, Voldie ran outside to meet him.
“Hi Morty” he said, excitedly.
“Oh .. Hi Voldie! What’s up?” Morty replied, nervously.
“Nothing really, I just wanted to chat” Voldie replied smiling.
"Is everything ok with Victorie” Morty asked.
“Er.. Yeah.. she’s fine” Voldie replied, looking very confused.
“How’s her new ….” Morty began.
“Listen Morty, I wanted you to come round here to focus more on us” Voldie replied flirtingly. He reached forward and grabbed Morty’s hand and looked up into Morty’s disgusted face.
Morty pulled his hands away hastily.
“Oh, I’m sorry Voldie! I didn’t know that you liked me like that! I’m sorry but I’m not like that” he apologized.
After a few seconds of Voldie looking at Morty lovingly, Morty apologized once again and then ran off to grab a taxi home.
The livid Voldie stormed back into the house and up into Venetia’s room, and after a few minutes of searching, he found what he was looking for. He picked up Venetia’s wand and twiddled it in his fingers. After a few seconds, he left the room, taking the wand with him.
Next he entered Victorie’s old room and found her magic book still lying open on the stand. He flicked through the pages, viciously until her found the spell he was looking for. Once he had found the spell, he began to try and perform the spell. Although, he didn’t know whether he had the “power” or not, he suspected he must have some of the power if two of his sisters had it. He knew that they shared the same genes and that there was a high possibility of them sharing similar DNA. He soon found out that he had a power when he produced small sparks from the end of Venetia’s wand. He smiled and continued to practise casting the spell.
A few hours later and Voldie walked downstairs and into the living room where Vince and Nicky were still playing on the games console.
“Vince this is your last chance, leave her, or you will both get hurt” Voldie said, in a slightly crazed voice.
Vince stood up and looked at Voldie, Nicky too looked around, but left the two brothers and tried not to get involved in their argument.
“Voldie go away!” Vince said, pleadingly.
“Then, you’ve had your last chance Vince” Voldie said, smiling with a crazed grin.
He pulled the wand from his pocket and pointed it at Vince, whose eyes widened at the sight of it.
“Voldie ,,,!?” he started, but was cut off by Voldie muttering the spell.
The spell hit Vince in the chest and a blue light shot round his body, shocking him. He screamed out in agony and collapsed onto his knees. Nicky threw the controller on the floor and stood up. She threw her hand over her mouth in shock and screamed.
As Vince fell to the floor and stopped moving, Voldie turned the wand to point it at Nicky, who was too busy crying at Vince’s lifeless body to notice.
After muttering the same spell, the spell shot out once again and hit Nicky in the middle of the chest. She too fell to the ground and stopped moving. After a few minutes, of staring at the two dead bodies, Voldie ran into the kitchen. After, writing a small not to his mother explaining that he had left the house forever and was ok, but wanted to be alone. He then fled the house, taking the wand with him.
“Vince! Voldie!” Shannon called out when she arrived home after her morning run.
When she walked into the living room, she found the two graves of her son and his girlfriend and broke down in floods of tears.
Meanwhile, Wilbur was coming back from going to the shops and as he crossed the road, he felt the nausea sweep over him. He knew this was what he saw in his vision, but before he could think anymore, he collapsed on the cold, hard concrete.
All Wilbur saw in his vision was a blackness. He couldn’t move, but he saw the blackness. After a few minutes, the blackness faded and he opened his eyes to the blue sky, once more.
Wilbur stood up quickly and put his hand to the back of his head. It was wet and he brought his head back to look at it and it was covered in blood.
“Shit” he muttered.
He heard the screech of tires and the sound of the car horn and as he turned around, the car hit him. His legs were taken out instantly and he was thrown off his feet, his head slammed down upon the windscreen of the car and everything went black.

The Marina Legacy – Chapter 3.0 – Abandonment
Hello and welcome to Chapter 3.0 of the Marina Legacy!

At Zoey Nhadra’s “leaving party”, she returned to the Netherworld and left her husband, children and friends in Sunset Valley. Once he managed to pull himself together, Derick told Yorath that his mother had appointed him as heir and he was know the leader of the Marina Legacy and the household. Yorath’s first job was to tell everyone the bad new, it was hard for him, especially telling her close friends, but he had to do it. He now knew all of her friends and seemed to get on really well with them.
Yorath was completely committed to Xenophilius Travers and was always the first to tend to him if he was crying or needed changing.
Every spare moment he got, he was either tending to or playing with Xenophilius. I can now really see the old Yorath pulling through the layers of solitude and i am excited and hopeful that this continues.
A few nights later, there was a small knock at the door. It was past 12 o’clock and pitch black outside. As i looked out of the window i saw a small, slender figure running towards a packed taxi. The figure threw herself into the taxi and it sped round the corner. Yorath went to look out the door anyway, even though i suspected a silly game. He walked out of the front door and saw a small buddle right next to the light. He picked it up and inside was a small baby boy.
He brought the small child into the house and picked up his phone to phone the police, when he noticed a small note tucked away in the bundle of blankets. It was addressed “To My Yorath”
Yorath quickly tore open the envelope and began to read.
To My Yorath,
I am happy to tell you that we have a child, his name is Xerxes Irving. I’ve recently found out about your family’s history and legacy, so i named his something beginning with x for you. Also, i only recently discovered you have a girlfriend and did have one when we made love. I am so sorry that i came back that night as i never knew that you did, I’m sorry that i tempted you and came onto you. I didn’t want to tell you about my pregnancy as i heard about you and Graciela the day i discovered i was carrying our baby. I was planning to go to another town and never come back, but that was before i met Manu.
The further Yorath read, the more shocked he became.
Manu is funny and handsome and perfect for me. I am in love for the second time in my life, the first being you. I have been trying to get over you ever since i learnt about you having a girlfriend, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I feel the best way for me to do this is to move away and never come back. Me and Manu are moving to England and we don’t plan on returning. Of course a baby would be a huge delay and it will always be relying on us. I think that the best thing for Xerxes is to live with you. I don’t care what you tell him as long as he never finds out or comes looking for me again.
I will miss you.

Yorath could not believe that Ivy would just leave their baby, without a care for him in the world. He walked into the hall and took the baby from his father’s arms, with a shocked look on his face. He pulled the baby close to his head and cradled it. He told his father about the letter and that Xerxes was his son, whilst cuddling the baby.
Derick understood and accepted that Xerxes was his grandson, but was disappointed that he was so careless. Yorath went upstairs to his and Graciela’s room and put little Xerxes into his newly brought crib. He sighed as he saw his two sons in their cribs. He ran downstairs and informed his father what he was going to tell his brothers and Graciela. His father told him it was wrong to lie to Graciela but he would go along with it for her sake. Yorath thanked his father but the key turning in the front door made him freeze in his position, Graciela was home!
The Marina Legacy – Chapter 4.2 – Incoming Danger
Hello and welcome to a new chapter of the Marina Legacy! You might not be able to see from the picture, but Xiu Mei is standing in the newest property of the Marinas. We now have a family graveyard as I’ve been told by some people that ghosts or the lots make your game slower and more glitchey, so I moved the all out!
Now, on with the story!
Getting up early didn’t come naturally to Odile. She spent much longer at the mirror trying to cover the bags under her eyes up, when she was satisfied to walked outside and got into the awaiting taxi.
When she arrived at Primpleton Manor, she walked towards the front door confidently, trying to hide her nerves and fear of the powerful man.
Cleveland and Odile spent the day together. When he finally fell asleep, Odile slipped out of bed and quickly got changed. Once changed, she walked out of the house and left him alone.
2 days later, Wilbur walked out of his bedroom early one morning. He found his aunt ascending the stairs and she seemed to have a small baby belly. He smiled at her and she smiled back, nervously.
Wilbur had been sleeping a lot recently. Xiu put it down to growing up and being a teenager and growing up. She didn’t think that it would have anything to do with pounding headaches and sore body. His visions were becoming more and more frequent, almost daily.
After eating his cereal one morning, Wilbur felt the nausea gripping him. He quickly tried to sit down again, but wasn’t fast enough. He collapsed on the cold, stone floor and a vision flashed before his eyes.
He was standing in a big field, which he recongnised as the family graveyard. He was in the small, fenced off area where his father was buried. He walked foward and tripped up on another grave in the area. He bent down and looked at the gravestone and read the inscription;
Xiu Mei Marina
Widow, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Friend
You will be missed.
The fire that ripped apart your home, will always haunt your family.
As Wilbur awoke, he was haunted by the picture of his mother’s grave. She couldn’t die.
He quickly ran upstairs to avoid any unwanted questions about his sudden collapse.
A few hours later, Wilbur walked up the long driveway towards the huge manor. He had been to the library and found a book written by his Great-Great Grandmother. She had written about her close circle of friends that lived in the huge house across the street. They took her in when her mother and father kicked her out. The advised her all through her foundership and helped her along the way. Wilbur decided to go and visit these people to see if they could help him with his visions and the ever closer death of his mother.
When he reached the front door, he knocked nervously. After a few moments, a small woman with brown hair opened the door.
“Hello?” she asked, inquisitively.
“Hi, I’m Wilbur Marina, are you part of the Simselfs family?” he replied.
“Yes.” the girl said. “Hi Wilbur, I’m Catherine Simself, but you can call me Cat!”
“Hey Cat! I was wondering, could I speak to all of the simselfs it’s sorta important.”
“Sure” she said excitedly “I’ll just get them”
After 5 minutes, everyone was sitting in the living area. Catherine coughed purposely and everyone ceased talking.
“Everyone, This is Wilbur Marina!” she said motioning to Wilbur. “He is Fawna’s great-great grandson.”
The was a murmur of excitement before Catherine coughed again.
“He has come here for our advice, take it away Wilbur.”
Wilbur gulped for air before speaking. He couldn’t believe he was about to tell his most important secret to people he didn’t even know.
“Well, recently I’ve been collapsing and then having visions in my head. A few days later and these visions have come true.” he said, quietly.
Mariah grinned. “It’s started” she exclaimed.
“What’s started?” Wilbur asked inquisitively.
“Well …” Mariah began. “In all legacies, people start to develop powers in some form or another. It seems that that time has come for your family.”
“So you mean I’m stuck with it?” Wilbur asked.
“Stuck with it?” Mariah said. “It’s a gift!”
“What sort of things have you seen?” Mariah asked.
“Well the first vision was off my mother pregnant, and the second was of my aunt pregnant. Recently, they are almost daily and they are normally of small things like someone tripping over. The latest one was the creepiest I’ve seen though” Wilbur replied.
“What was the latest vision of?” Elysia enquired.
“I…I…” Wilbur stuttered. “I saw my mother’s grave” he managed to finally say.
“What?!” Amy exclaimed.
“I saw her grave in the family graveyard” Wilbur repeated.
“She can’t die though” Amy said. “She’s so young?”
“She didn’t die because of old age or illness” Wilbur replied, darkly. “She died from a fire”
“A fire?” Starla said, looking anxious.
“Yes, from a fire? What’s up?” Wilbur asked, noticing the mood in the room hit rock bottom.
“Your family doesn’t have a very good history with fire” Starla said slowly. “When your great-great-grandmother was kicked out, her mother and father adopted to carry on the family. Their adopted son stole one of your great-great aunts and turned her against your family. She tricked your great uncle and grandfather into burning the house down, killing your great grandmother and your other great uncle so they could be heirs. She locked them in the house and it burned the house down, killing everyone but your grandfather and great grandfather.”
“Why would anyone want to kill innocent children?” Wilbur asked, sadly.
“The Primpletons are pure evil and would do anything to destroy your family. Although, I think the last heir is nearly dead and that would mean an end to their evil reign.” Starla replied
. 
“So you think it could be the Primpletons who kill my mother?” Wilbur asked.
“I could be” Elyse replied. “But Wilbur you need to remember, nothing is set in stone. You could still save your mother.”
“How can I?” Wilbur said, glumly.
“Well, If you find out who kills your mother you could protect her?” Elyse suggested.
“I suppose” Wilbur said, the hope building inside of him. “Do you think I should go and check the last Primpleton out?” he asked the Simselfs.
“Yes” Catherine replied. “But be careful Wilbur, The Primpletons are dangerous and wouldn’t hesitate on killing you.” she warned him.
“Where do they live?” he asked, trying not to think about being killed.
“In the old Primpleton Manor, upon the hill” she said.
“Just go and take a look around when the heir isn’t home. Look in the windows and see if you can see anything suspicious. If he arrives home or you do see anything suspicious, come straight home and inform us.” Lewis informed him.
“I will” Wilbur assured them. He looked out of the window towards Primpleton Manor and saw that it was now dark outside. “I better get home, thanks for the advice!” he said to the Simselfs.
“Anytime you need it, Wilbur!” Jennise told him. “Remember to come back and visit in a few days and tells us your findings” she said as he walked out of the door.
When Wilbur got home, he went straight to bed. He would need to get up early and get ready for the day ahead of him.
Meanwhile, downstairs Odile had finally told Xeno that she was pregnant. She had tried to keep it a secret but that baby was due that morning and she wanted to raise it with Xenophillius rather than Cleveland raise her child.
A few hours later and Wendy was brought into the world. Odile named her in accordance to the naming structure as to keep the secret from Xeno.
Later that day, Wilbur arrived at Primpleton Manor. He looked on the driveway and saw there were no cars parked there. He slowly walked up the path and towards the front door.
When he turned the corner and saw the door he also saw another person standing there. He quickly ducked and looked up at the person from his hiding position. It was his aunt Odile and she was carrying Wendy. Just as Wilbur was wondering why Odile was at Primpleton Manor, he heard her speak.
“Cleveland! I’ve decided I want to raise our child!” she shouted towards and open window.
As the thought of his uncle not being Wendy’s father raced through his mind. Lewis’ last words echoed in his head. He quickly got up and ran home.
The next day, during a heist, Odile was arrested and charged with a night in prison.
That night, the family, apart from Odile, sat down for dinner.
“What’s up Wilbur, you look a little upset” Wilhelmina asked.
“I’m fine!” he answered whilst spooning in some spaghetti.
“You don’t look fine?” she replied.
“I’m fine! OK?” he shouted. He slammed his fork down and left the table.
Xiu saw the sad look on Wilhelmina’s face and said “Don’t worry dear. He’s just tired and a bit cranky” she assured her.
Meanwhile, Wilbur walked out of the house and headed towards the house across the road.
Inside of the house, the fire had been let to warm up the chilly living area.
“So…” Starla began once everyone had settled down. “Did you go to Primpleton Manor?”
“Yes” he said nervously.
“Oooooh! What did you find?” Catherine asked, excitedly.
“My aunt Odile was there. She was showing Cleveland their child” Wilbur said, with no emotion.
“NO!” Elysia shouted. “BETRAYING BITCH!”
“Well!” Mariah shouted over Elysia’s cursing. “That backs up our theory that it could be the Primpleton’s. If your aunt is sided with them then that would give her easy access towards your mother. Where is your aunt at the moment?”
“In prison” Wilbur replied.
“Good, when she gets out, make sure she is never left alone with your mother” Mariah warned him.
“Ok, I won’t” Wilbur replied. Looking up at the clock on the wall, he saw it was nearly time for his curfew. He said his goodbyes to the simselfs and left the house.
Odile returned from prison late that night. She was now on a mission. Her inmates had informed her of how she could become part of the legacy heir ship and then give it to her eldest daughter.
Early the next morning, Wilhelmina and Xeno left for work.
A few hours later, Wilbur exited the front door. He was all set for his jog to the beach and quietly closed the door, assuming everyone was still asleep.
A few minutes later, Odile exited the house with her youngest daughter and place her on the grass. She whispered “You’ll be safe here.” She then walked back inside and emerged a few moments later with her nephew.
She could smell the pancakes that Xiu was making downstairs. She took a deep breath before shouting
“Xiu!!! Quick! I think there is something wrong with Will” in a worried tone.
Xiu ran into her room in a panic and saw through the glass door that Will was not in his crib.
“Odile! Where is he?” she said to her sister in law.
Xiu turned around and saw Odile walking out of the bedroom.
“Odile?” she repeated.
Suddenly she saw the orange flames that had erupted from the match that was laying on the carpet.
Where did i go wrong?

The Marina Legacy – Chapter 4.1 – Visions
Hello and welcome to the latest chapter in the Marina’s life. Last time, Xiu Mei gave birth to her first baby, a little boy called Wilbur. Also, Xenophillius Travers’ one night stand resulted in little Wilhelmina Christina. Yorath Ebony returned from grieving his wife, Graciela, and was killed by Xeno’s girlfriend, Odile Rosie. It turned out Odile was Ivy’s, Yorath’s love, daughter. Got that?
The creak of the floorboards echoed through out the silent house. The orange sun was rising above the horizon outside of the windows and chirps of the birds waking could be heard from the silent house. Xenophillius Travers tip-toed out of his bedroom and down the hall. Once he reached the wooden stairs, he looked back at the empty hallway and then carefully descended the stairs into the ground floor. He grabbed his coat from the brass rack by the door and walked out of the front door, leaving his family sleeping peacefully in their bed. He hurried down the stone path and got into his carpool.
Christmas had flown past in the Marina household. They were now a month into the New Year and Wilhelmina and Wilbur were children. They both received their own personally decorated rooms.
After consuming his breakfast that morning, Wilbur started to feel dizzy. His head started to throb in pain and it was almost unbearable. He started to feel nauseous and he ached everywhere. His vision started to blur and eventually everything went black.
He collapsed on the cold, hard, stone floor. A image started to form in front of him. It was a while before he recognised his house and his mother.
She was standing just outside the front door, waiting for someone. She looked extremely happy and wave towards Wilbur. Wilbur started to walk forward, but he stopped after a few steps. His mother didn’t look right, she wasn’t wearing her normal clothes. The he saw it. His mother was pregnant. She had tried to disguise it by wearing bigger and looser clothes, but he could still see her belly protruding from the jacket. He stayed there staring at his mother in shock. He then heard her sweet voice shout to him.
“Come on Wilbur! I’ve got something to tell you!” she shouted excitedly.
The image of his mother and her unborn baby faded and he opened his eyes. He could see the white ceiling of the kitchen. He sat up and shook her head, the headache was slowly going and he wasn’t feeling sick anymore. His arms and legs were still aching and a wave of tiredness came over him. He walked up to his bedroom and got into his bed. Within two minutes, he was asleep.
Wilhelmina spent the day one Xiu’s laptop. She really started to enjoy writing, and especially like to read news articles on the Simternet.
As night fell on Sunset Valley, Wilbur was still in bed. The vision of his mother weaved in and out of his dreams. He had told himself that it was impossible that his mother was pregnant, the only person she loved was his father, and he was dead. She couldn’t have found another man, or could she? He couldn’t help but think that maybe it was true and maybe she was pregnant.
His first guess was right, for now.
Xiu Mei hurried down the stairs into the dimly lit basement. She walked quickly towards the portrait of a man with blonde/pink/purple hair and stood there, admiring him. She suddenly broke out in floods of tears, she hadn’t been down to see her husbands grave. She hated seeing her once handsome and amazing husband reduced to a box of ashes.
Suddenly, wisps of smoke started to ooze from the other graves, ghosts of Xiu’s ancestors materialised around her. She still stared at Boyd’s portrait, not noticing the ghosts floating past her. She didn’t notice the white mist oozing from Boyd’s grave until it started to surround her. She stepped back in shock and her late husband materialized in front of her.
She stared at him in shock for a few moments before embracing him. They stood there, hugging, for what seemed like hours, before Xiu broke the silence.
“I’ve missed you” she said smiling at her husband.
“I’ve missed you too babe!” he replied.
He picked Xiu up and carried her out of the basement and up to their bedroom.
They spent the night together in their old bedroom. Xiu was happy again, she had her husband back, or so she thought, and still had her beautiful son.
When the sun was starting to rise over Sunset Valley, it was time for Boyd to go back to the Land of the Dead. Xiu woke up later in the morning to find her husband gone for a second time. He was nowhere to be found and she assumed that he had left her.
When Wilbur arrived home the next day, he saw his vision. His mother was standing there, pregnant. It happened exactly as it did in Wilbur’s vision. This time, it didn’t end. He walked towards his mother and saw she was beaming.
“W..What is it mum?” Wilbur asked Xiu, nervously.
“I’m pregnant!” she exclaimed, excitedly.
“Mum, T..That’s great” Wilbur stuttered.
Xiu noticed the nervousness and resentment in Wilbur’s voice and replied “What’s up honey?”
“It’s just … Mum, I thought you only loved Dad?” Wilbur asked his mother.
“Honey! Of course I only love your father, It’s your father’s baby!” She answered.
“M…Mum. I…I don’t know how to tell you, but dad’s dead, It can’t be his baby” Wilbur said comfortingly.
“Honey, I know your father’s dead, but his ghost came back a few nights ago.”
Wilbur looked at his mother, she didn’t look like she was mental but what she had just said seemed it.
“Are you sure mum?” Wilbur asked her.
“Yes!” Xiu replied, still excited.
Wilbur was silent for a moment before he finally said “Well, I’m happy for you mum!”
They both hugged and walked inside the house together.
After experiancing his vision in reality, Wilbur was hit again by the wave of exhaustion. He went and took a small nap on his bed. He woke up at 6am the next morning.
After staying late after school the next day, Wilbur started to ache all over his body. His head started to pound again and the nausea returned. He quickly got on his bicycle and attempted to get home before he passed out.
He didn’t make it very far before his vision went and his body crumpled. His bike went into a wall and Wilbur was thrown onto the pavement.
He was standing in the hallway at home and he saw his aunt Odile in front of him. She was smiling at him and he saw that she too had a baby belly. She pulled her hand to her belly and rubbed it.
“I’m pregnant!” she said to him.
The image vanished in a blur or swirls and Wilbur could see the leaves of a tree swaying in the breeze.
He quickly got onto his feet and saw people looking at him and pointing. He retrieved his bike and cycled home before anyone could stop him.
When Wilbur returned home, he wanted to go straight to bed, but he was parched. He walked into the kitchen and saw his family standing around the counter with two cakes placed nearby. Of course! he thought It’s mine and Wilhelmina’s birthday tonight!
The shrill voice of Wilhelmina echoed through the kitchen “Wilbur! There you are!”
Wilbur’s mother turned around and saw her son. “Wilbur! Where’ve you been?!” she shouted.
“I told you mum, I had to stay a while afterschool!” he said.
“Yes! You also told me that finished an hour ago! It doesn’t take that long to get home!” she replied angrily.
Wilbur looked around nervously, she’d think he was crazy if he told her the truth.
“I stayed a while to speak to the teacher!” he said nervously.
His mother glared at him and said “Well come on! Your late for your party!”
Wilbur was first to grow up. He stepped up to the cake and everyone started to cheer. Before he blew out the candles he leant in towards the cake and whispered.
“Please, all I want is for these visions to stop”
He then blew out the candles and waited to be engulfed by the sparkles.
Just after Wilbur grew up, Xiu went into labour. She decided to stay at home again as she didn’t want to disrupt her son or niece’s birthdays.
After an hour, she gave birth to little Will Archie* Marina. She quickly ran upstairs and put him in his crib and walked back downstairs to Wilhelmina’s birthday.
* = Will and Archie are off an American programme called Glee. The pilot was screened a few weeks back here and I can’t wait to watch the series.
Wilhelmina walked up to the cake and made her wish. She grew up a few minutes later and ran upstairs to get changed.
Wilhelmina looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, she was now a beautiful and fashionable teenager and could do whatever she wanted.
Meanwhile, In the hallway, Odile got a phone call from a unknown number. She pressed the green button and put the phone to her ear.
“Hello?”
“Odile, It’s me, Cleveland!” said the person on the other end.
“Oh, Hi Cleveland! How can i help you?" she said politely.
“You’ve done fantastic with infiltrating the Marina’s and I trust your training of Willie is going to plan?” Cleveland asked her.
“Yes, It’s going fine” she said.
“Good good! That’s not what I called for though, I need to ask you something”
“Anything!” Odile replied.
“I need your help in an important matter!” Cleveland replied.
“What is it?” Odile asked excitedly.
“I need your assistance in creating the Primpleton Heir!” he said menacingly.
“What do you mean?” Odile asked nervously.
“I need you to carry my baby for me!” Cleveland said, confirming Odile’s worst fears.
“Bu…” Odile started to say.
“Ah! I took you and your mother in Odile, you are just going to let me down?!”
“Of course not, I’ll come round tomorrow!”
“That’s better”
Odile hung up and ran to the bathroom where she broke down into tears.
The Marina Legacy – Chapter 4.0 – It’s Christmas time, there’s no need to be afraid …
Hello and welcome to a rather belated Christmas chapter of the Marinas. Hope you enjoy.
The middle of December marked the time for the Christmas decorations to go up around the Marina household. Xenophillius was left to complete this ritual as Xiu Mei was still grieving her late husband and his father, Yorath Ebony, was nowhere to be seen.
The first day after coming home from the hospital, Xiu slept. She was exhausted from the overlong stay at the hospital, but it also numbed her pain. She stayed in her room, with the curtains drawn and lights turned out. The next day, she locked herself in her room and lay in her bed. She didn’t move an inch and thoughts raced around her head about the new baby and her late husband.
Finally, after two days of isolating herself, Xiu resurfaced from her bedroom and walked into the skills quarters. She started to finish the painting she started on her wedding day. The painting of her husband.
A few hours later and the painting was finished. Xiu signed and hung it in the basement, where the rest of the family portraits hung. She then walked up the two flights of stairs and into her bedroom. She quickly got changed and threw herself under the covers once again.
She awoke, just as the sun was arising, and started to feel pains in her lower stomach. With her father still missing and brother fast asleep, Xiu endured the long and painful labour on her own. Whilst in labour, she broke down, crying out for her dead husband. After 3 hours of pain and stress, she finally delivered a baby boy. She smiled for the first time in 3 days and said;
“I shall name you Wilbur Lewis Marina*!” She said whilst inhaling sharply.
She walked over to the newly brought crib, that her brother had brought and constructed for her, and placed little Wilbur beneath the blankets.
*= Wilbur and Lewis Robinson are from Disney’s Meet the Robinsons.
As little Wilbur was sleeping, Xiu went outside. She breathed in all the smells of the outdoors that she had missed and loved. She walked across the moss ridden path towards her garden and started to tend to her wilting plants. She still grieved for her husband inside, but she now had a beautiful little son to fill the empty void in her heart.
A couple of days later and a slim, small looking girl got out of a taxi and the front of the house. She walked up the path towards the house and rung the doorbell.
In her arms, was a small bundle.
As Xenophillius opened the door and saw his lover and the baby in her arms, her knew the baby was his. She smiled at him and he beamed at her.
“Hi” he said awkwardly.
“Hey there!” She said laughing.
He invited the girl inside and she started to explain.
“I’m so sorry! I would have come to you sooner, but I didn’t know where you lived . I had to go to City Hall and ask them.” she apologized.
“No, No. I knew where you lived, I should have come a visited you! I’m sorry, life has been complicated these last few days.” Xenophillius replied, nervously.
The girl smiled at him and said
“Her name is Wilhelmina Christina Marina-Barker” the girl said sweetly.
Xenophillius smiled back and replied;
“She’s beautiful” he exclaimed. “I know we don’t really know each other, but we have a daughter now. So would you like to move in with me.” he asked, smiling at the seemingly innocent girl.
She beamed.
“Oh! Of course!” She squealed. “I’ll just go and get my things from my house!”
She handed Xenophillius their daughter and kissed him on the cheek, she then turned around and ran out the door to flag down a taxi.
Xenophillius stood there with his new daughter and smiled.
“Hello princess!” He whispered whilst snuggling her.
That night, it was time for Wilbur and Wilhelmina’s birthdays. Wilbur went first and Xiu excitedly rushed him to his cake.
Wilhelmina quickly followed Wilbur into toddlerhood. Wilbur has Yorath’s hair and his late fathers eyes. And Wilhelmina has Graciela’s hair and her mother’s eyes.
After the children’s birthdays, Xenophillius and his lover retreated to the bedroom.
“So, I was thinking we could start to get to know each other a little better, seeing as we don’t know each other’s names” he said whilst laughing.
“Sure!” She replied. “I’ll start. My name is Odile Rosie Barker. My mother died, a few months ago and I’ve lived with a family friend since” she said starting to look glum.
Xenophillius looked at her sympathetically. “Well, I’m Xenophillius Travers. My mother died about a week ago, as did my brother in-law. And my father is currently missing!” he said.
“Shit! Are you ok?” she asked, sounding worried.
He smiled. “Yeah, I’m fine! I’ve still got my sister!”
It was silent for a while, but the awkward silence was broken by Xeno.
“So, I know how you said the other night that you hated how people thought of you as a chav, but you had no money to change that. So, I’ve got some new clothes for you and I’ll also pay for you to have a haircut too, If you want?” he asked sweetly.
Odile screamed in excitement. She leapt into Xeno’s arms and kissed him.
The next day, Odile looked a completely different woman. He hair was just below the shoulder and curly and her clothes were casual and normal. She was so happy and couldn’t stop thanking Xeno for what he had done for her.
At about 3am the next morning, an elderly man walked up to the door of the house. He pulled out a silver key and inserted it into the lock. He turned the key and the door clicked open.
He walked into the kitchen and jumped when he saw a woman standing there. He didn’t recognise her, but she looked familiar, like an old friend.
Odile saw Yorath and smiled. She ran over to introduce herself.
“Hi, I’m Odile Rosie Barington! I’m your son’s girlfriend!” She said, whilst holding out her hand.
“Ahh, Hello! As you already know, I’m Xeno’s father, Yorath!” Yorath exclaimed smiling.
“Where’ve you been?” she asked inquisitively.
Yorath looked at her for a moment, trying to figure out if he could trust the newcomer to the household. After a few moments, he decided that she was now part of the family and he could most definitely trust her.
He looked into the deep sapphire eyes and said
“After I recieved the news of my wife’s car crash, I decided to take a quick break. I managed to get myself together and now I’m back to continue with my life here. Just in time for Christmas!”
Odile smirked. She had him now. Xeno, Xiu and the children were all upstairs asleep. They wouldn’t wake up for a few hours, this was her one chance for revenge.
“Wow! Well, I’m glad your back, I was just about to cook something, do you want some waffles?” she asked him.
“That would be great! I’m starving!”
Odile nodded and smiled at Yorath. She then went to the fridge and got out all of the required ingredients. Yorath walked to the table and sat down. He picked up the paper on the table and started to read.
The sounds of Odile cooking echoed around the kitchen walls. The sun was starting to rise now. After a few minutes if silence, Yorath said
“Woah! It seems I’ve missed a lot while I’ve been away!”
Odile looked up from the cooking, “Yeah, A lot has happened this past week!”
Odile eventually finished prepping the waffles and put the snacks into the oven.
After 10 minutes of cooking, the timer started to beep. Odile quickly rushed the waffles out of the oven and served them on a small plate. She turned around and saw that Yorath was still engrossed in this weeks news. She pulled a small vial from her jeans pocket and tipped two drops of the green liquid onto one of the plates.
Odile placed the plate in front of Yorath and smiled at him. He quickly grabbed his knife and fork and smiled back. He then begun to dig into his breakfast.
eWhile he was eating his waffles, Yorath got a sour taste in his mouth. He didn’t take much notice of it though as he was starving and just wanted to fill his stomach. Only when he finished, did he notice the taste was still not going. He got up and started to walk towards the sink. His legs seemed unstable and weak, he collapsed on the floor just as a sharp pain started in his stomach. He fell on his back and looked up towards Odile.
“H…H…E..lp me!” he managed to stutter out.
She smirked at him.
“Now you know what it feels like to die alone, just like my mother” she sneered.
The image of Ivy’s body flashed in Yorath’s mind and it was the last image he saw.
At 6.55am, Odile ran down into the basement and placed Yorath’s grave on the table. She quickly returned upstairs and into the kitchen just as Xeno was waking up.
When he came downstairs, Odile had to break the news.
“Xeno?” she said nervously. “The police came round this morning, they found your father dead at a country home in Riverview. He seems to have died of a heart attack and old age. I’m sorry” she said trying to comfort him.
She then tried to cheer him up.
“Come on! Think about it, he’s with your mother and grandparents now. He’s probably happy!”
“Yeah, I suppose!” He sniffled.
The next day was Christmas Eve and Xiu Mei wanted to organise a party. It would bring the family together for Yorath’s death and let them celebrate Christmas together.
That night, the guests arrived and everyone started to talk and get into the Christmas spirit.
Daphne Taylor was there and it was the first time Xiu had seen her since Boyd’s death. They mourned for him and Xiu showed Daphne her nephew.
After the party, Xiu went upstairs to check on Wilbur. He was still awake so she cuddled him and whispered.
“Come on sweetie! Go to sleep and tomorrow Santa will have been and given you lots of presents!”
She gave him one last kiss and pulled the blankets up over he body. She then left him and walked into her own room and started to get ready for bed.

The Marina Legacy – Oopps!
Hey! Sorry for the prolonged wait for this chapter, I’ve been a little busy and I hoped to get a few updates out last week but teachers were being stupid, as always, and overloaded us with work.
When we last left off, Xiu Mei’s husband of one day died in a car crash, along with Graciela. Soon Xiu discovered she was pregnant.
2 Days Earlier
The day of Xiu and Boyd’s wedding, Xenophillius decided to get out of the house. His father was nowhere to be found and his mother said she was going to meet a friend. Xeno didn’t want to stay at home alone with the lovebirds, so he decided to go and eat at the Bistro.
Xeno walked into the Bistro and looked up to see a girl standing in front of him. He stepped back in shock and she smiled at him. He smiled back.
Xeno: “Hi, Im Xenophillius
Girl: “Woah! That’s a moutful!” she said laughing.
Xeno laughed and said “You can call me Xeno”
They talked for ages. They had a lot in common as they were both seen as outsiders. Xeno was seen as a freak and the girl was seen as a chav. Xeno really felt that he could connect with this girl and he started to like her more than he should.
It started to get late and the Bistro started to close. The girl asked Xeno back to her house. He had never been invited to anyone’s house before, so was overjoyed at the prospect and accepted straight away.
Once they arrived at the girls home, she led Xenophillius up to her bedroom. He admired her house as it was a beautiful old house. He loved the feel and the furniture that surrounded him.
When the finally reached her room, the girl turned to Xeno.
Girl: “Please excuse me, I just need to go to the bathroom. Make yourself at home.”
Xeno: “Erm .. Oh thanks!”
When the girl walked out of the bathroom, all she was wearing was a small lace bra and bottoms. She smiled at Xeno, but he appeared to be extremely red and looking awkward. She laughed and walked to join him on the bed.
Xeno soon became less and less awkward and …
Xeno woke much earlier than he would normally. The girl he slept with was gone and he was left alone. He got out of bed and realised the reason he was up so earlier. His phone was vibrating on the bedside cabinet.
Xeno picked up the phone and looked at the number. It was a number Xeno didn’t recognise, but he pressed the green button anyway
Xeno: “Hello!”
Phone: “Hello? Is that Xenophillius Travers Marina?”
Xeno: “E… Er… Who is this?”
Phone: “Sorry sir, I’m Lewis from Sunset Valley Hospital. I just need to confirm this is Xenophillius Travers Marina”
Xeno: “Yes, Yes I’m Xenophillius!”
Lewis: “Can you please confirm you address and medical password?”
Xeno: “Marina House, 10 Summer Hill Court and Crumple-Horned Snorkack”
Lewis: “That’s correct. Sir, I’m sorry to have to tell you this but … your mother and brother in-law have been involved in a car accident. I think you should get down here.”
Xeno: “Have you informed my sister?”
Lewis: “I’m sorry sir, we couldn’t get hold of your sister”
Xeno: “I’ll try. I’ll be down there in a few minutes.”
Lewis: “Thank you, sir”
Xenophillius quickly hung up and ran down the stairs and out of the house. He quickly flagged down a taxi and sped off towards the hospital. He didn’t even have time to say goodbye to the girl.
Xenophillius’ heart was beating furiously as he walked through the doors to the hospital. He could smell the alcohol hand-cleaner as soon as he was inside. He hurried towards the reception desk and said his mothers name. The receptionist pointed him in the right way and he sped off towards her.
As he was sitting in waiting area, Xenophillius was trying to think about other things apart from his mother. He still hadn’t been able to contact his sister or father, so he was all alone.
He was startled by the sound of the doors opening, he shot up and looked at the blonde man in front of him.
Xeno: “Lewis?”
Lewis: “Yes, Hi Xenophillius.”
Xeno: “Are they ok?”
Lewis: “I’m sorry Xenophillius, but your mother suffered cardiac arrest a few moments after the crash. We think it was the shock and panic of crashing and being stuck. We arrived on the scene and wasn’t able to revive her. She died just after we got her to hospital.”
Xeno: “S… S… She’s gone?”
Lewis: “I’m so sorry.”
Xenophillius couldn’t think, he thought he was going to faint. His mother was gone. He would never see her alive again. He only just managed to say what was on his mind.
Xeno: “What about Boyd?”
Lewis: “He suffered a serious head injury during the initial crash and he managed to just survive the explosion after the crash. He suffered 3rd degree burns and it’s not looking good. He’s being operated as we speak, but I think he is far to injured to survive that surgery.”
A day later, Boyd died. He survived surgery, but died from internal bleeding. Xenophillius picked the pregnant, distraught Xiu Mei up from the hospital and brought her home.
Meanwhile, at Primpleton Manor, Cleveland Primpleton walked into Odile Rosie Barker’s room. She just walked out of the bathroom, back to her normal appearance.
Cleveland smiled at Odile and walked towards her.
Cleveland: “How did it go” he asked enthusiastically.
Odile smiled at him
Odile: “I think it’s safe to say, that there is a bun in my oven”
She laughed and winked and Cleveland and he started to laugh.
The Marina Legacy – Chapter 3.5 – Reincarnation

The girl had just another money to pay for a taxi up the hill. She gave the driver a small scrap of paper with a scribbled address on it. Once she arrived at the manor, she confidently climbed the steps towards the door. She knocked on the door sharply three times and waited patiently for an answer. The door was finally opened by a balding man and he let the beautiful teenager into his house.
“Odile, you’ve grown so much since we last met!”
“Uncle Glenn, It’s so good to see you again?” she said sweetly.
“You too! What brings you to Sunset Valley?”
“My mother is here, isn’t she?”
“Your mother?”
“Yes, she came her a few weeks back and didn’t return, so i assumed that she was still here?”
“I haven’t seen her in about a week? I assumed she’d gone back home?”
“What? No she never did, She isn’t anwsering her phone either!”
“The last place i know she went was to see Yorath Ebony Marina”
"Who’s Yorath Ebony Marina?” Ordile asked curiously.
“He’s your mothers ex-boyfriend. She had a baby with him!”
“Oh… Xerxes?”
“Yes, but did mum never come back?"
“No, i never saw anything of her, she said that she might go home again after seeing Yorath, so i assumed she had.”
“I think this Yorath has done something to my mother?”
“Well… we’ll just have to find out about that, won’t we?
Meanwhile, Xiu Mei went to visit her friend Daphne Taylor at her family home. They talked for hours in the lounge and couldn’t be distracted by anything or anyone.
Daphne’s older brother, Boyd, walked through the front door. Xiu was instantly smitten with Boyd and even managed to pluck up the courage to talk to him.
After a few hours of talking, Xiu Mei got her first kiss, with Boyd and his family watching. She was overjoyed that Boyd liked her back and things were moving quickly.
She was so happy, she couldn’t help herself. She lost her shyness around Boyd and was a completely different person.
She decided that she wanted to be with Boyd for the rest of her life. She proposed to him and he accepted. It was getting late in the Deb household and Xiu had to leave. She and Boyd arranged to get married as soon as possible. The next day.
When Xiu Mei woke up the next day, it took a while for the news to sink in. Once it did, she jumped out of her bed and got changed. It will still hours away from the big moment, so she decided to go and tend her garden. After spending a couple of hours in the garden, she decided to go and start to get ready.
Three hours later, she walked down the stairs a different woman. She was radiant and brimming with confidence. The guest at the wedding were amazed that she looked so different.
She and Boyd were married on the front lawn, next to the small lake now a part of the Marina’s home. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ceremony.
The wedding night was spent as every wedding night is. The went straight to the bedroom and …
A few minutes after the ceremony, Graciela received a phone call from a Withheld number.
“Hello?”
“Graciela Marina, i have something important to discuss with you.” said a deep and hoarse voice on the other end of the phone.
“Who is this?” Graciela asked
“That doesn’t matter, what does matter is that i have important information about your husband, Yorath, and your son, Xerxes,!”
“What do you mean?”
“Meet me at the old Primpleton Manor in 10 minutes”
Before Graciela could say any more, the mysterious voice hung up. She quickly grabbed her keys and walked outside.
As she walked into the overgrown garden of the manor, she felt really scared. Her brain told her to run, but her heart told her she needed to know what this person had to say about Xerxes. Against her better judgement, she walked inside.
The day after the wedding, Boyd had to work early. He got up without waking Xiu and got in his car and started the engine.
Graciela got into her car after staying all night at Primpleton Manor. She had been informed of everything, her husband’s cheating, her husband killing his own son and ex girlfriend. Her eyes closed as she dozed into sleep. She woke with a jolt and continued driving.
As he turned a corner, Boyd’s phone fell onto the floor of the car. He reached down to pick it up and in doing so missed Graciela pulling out in front of him. His car slammed into the back of hers.
The two cars slid all the way down the road and crashed into a lampost at the end. The streets were empty and there was no one to help the two injured passengers. Boyd awoke in a mist of smoke surrounding him. He tried to open the door beside him, but it wouldn’t budge. He could smell oil all around him and was franticly trying to push the door open. Suddenly, Graciela’s car went up in flames, sending an explosion echoing through the town. Boyd’s car was blow backwards and the blast mixed with the fire made the second explosion of the morning.
Xiu Mei woke after a good nights sleep. With Boyd not next to her she thought the wedding was a dream. She then remembered he had to work very early in the morning. She picked her phone of the bed side table and saw that she had 23 missed calls from Xenophilius.
She quickly pressed the redial button.
“Hello”
“Hey Xeno! It’s Xiu!”
“Oh… Hi!”
“What’s up?”
“I think you’d better come to the hospital”
“Why?”
“I’ll tell you when you get her, just hurry up ok?”
“Ok”
And with that he hung up!
10 minutes later, Xiu arrived at the hospital. She quickly ran inside, past a couple who were expecting a baby. She smiled and hoped that one day she and Boyd could have a family.
A day and a half later. Xiu Mei emerged from the hospital pale, dreary eyes, greasy hair and stinky. She had mascara all down her face and seemed to be sobbing. Having lost both her mother and husband in one day had affected Xiu seriously.
Just as she was about to hail a taxi, she felt a huge kick in her stomach. She was pregnant with her dead husbands baby.
The Marina Legacy – Chapter 3.4 – Keeping the Lie
Hello and welcome to the second update of the day!
Hope you enjoy and i hope it’s more interesting than the last update.
Xui Mei stepped up to the counter where the birthday cake was placed. She was excited to be finishing school so that she could focus more on her gardening. She could feel the eyes of the party guests glaring at her, but she took no notice.
The silence was broken by a sharp knocking at the door. Xerxes shouted “I’ll get it!”.
He walked to the door and pulled it open.
Standing there was a small, thin, tanned girl. She smiled when he opened the door and Xerxes returned the smile.
“Hi, I’m Xerxes, but you can call me X”
The woman laughed and said “You seem to have received your father’s charm!”
Xerxes looked at her in a strange way and she laughed once again.
“I’m sorry I never introduced myself, I’m Ivy Barker and your mother!”
Xerxes looked at her in an even stranger way and couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’m sorry!” he said “but i have a mother, she’s inside”
“Yes, but i’m your biological mother” she said “I left you with your father when you were a baby”
“You can’t be!” he exclaimed"
“Your name is Xerxes Irving Marina, your favourite colour is pink and your a artist!”
“You are my mother” he said sounding shocked
“Xerxes, who is it?” shouted Yorath from the kitchen.
Ivy grabbed Xerxes’ hands and said “I’m sorry about the shock, but i have to go now! Please don’t tell anyone about this meeting, i love you”
And with that she ran down the drive and into the awaiting taxi. It sped off round the corner and Xerxes walked back inside.
With Xerxes back in the house, Xiu blew out her candles on the cake and grew up with her family supporting her.
Xerxes found his second girlfriend and soon after he asked her out, dumped her.
Yorath’s birthday was next and he grew up without a party.
After Yorath’s birthday, Xerxes decided to disobey his mother and confront his father.
“Dad, can i talk to you?” Xerxes said nervously.
“Erm, yeah sure, what’s the matter?”
“Why have you lied to me my whole life!" he said, gaining more courage every moment
“I… I… I don’t know what your talking about, Xerxes”
“Yes, you do!” said Xerxes, his voice raising. “You lied to me about my real mother, she came by the house the other day and told me everything!”
“W… H… I… Why are you making up these lies?”
“Don’t twist this dad, or are you my real dad!"
“Of course i am!”
“Well, I’ve been calling the wrong person my mother for my whole life!”
“No you haven’t, that woman lied to you!”
Xerxes stormed into his bedroom, and started to paint. Who should he believe, his father, or a woman he had never met?
When Ivy arrived, Yorath greeted her outside the house.
“Long time now see!” he said smiling
“I know Yorath, it’s been too long” she replied, smiling as well
“You said you wasn’t come back?” Yorath questioned.
“I know, but Manu passed away a few months back and i wanted to see my baby!”
“I’m sorry” Yorath said trying not to feel sorry for Ivy
Soon enough, Yorath’s plan was starting to work and Ivy was believing his every move.
“I love you Ivy, will you move in?”
“Yorath, you’re married?”
“Yes, but we’re on the rocks, and i love you so much more!”
“This is the kitchen, just come in here whenever you want something to eat!”
“Ok, thanks Yorath”
“What’s down there?” Ivy asked curiously
Yorath smiled. “That’s our quarters”
Ivy giggled a girlish laugh and started to descend the stairs.
Ivy descended the stairs smiling, her life was getting better. She now had a new partner and a big house. She felt Yorath’s hands on her back and she reached round to cuddle him, when he pushed her. She tripped and tumbled down the stairs and hit her head on the wall at the bottom. Yorath quickly ran down the remaining steps and picked up her unconscious body and carried her down further and further.
Life continued as normal, Xerxes met his girlfriend number 3.
And girlfriend number 4.
Graciela grew into an elder and joined her deceiving husband. She now went to the library to read up on logic and improve her skills.
One day at the Bistro, Xiu Mei met a girl called Daphne Taylor Deb. They got on great and are great friends.
After a few days of being locked up, Ivy was starting to feel the toll. She was having constant headaches, her stomach was growling and she was so tired and stinky.
In the end, it all become too much and Ivy passed away. A few days later and Yorath checked up on the room. He cleaned up her ashes and threw them into the sea.
Next, he set his mind on the last part of his plan.
“Son, I’m really sorry. You were right Ivy is your mother”
“B… but you said that she was lying to me?”
“I know, i know and it was wrong of me, I’m sorry!"
“Y … I … S .. That’s ok, i suppose she did leave me and you were only thinking about me!”
“Yes, but please don’t tell Graciela, because she doesn’t know and it would kill her”
“Don’t worry Dad, i won’t”
Yorath smiled and ruffled his sons hair “Good boy!”
“Dad? Do you know where mum lives? So, you know, i can go and talk to her?”
“I’m sorry Xerxes, but your mother has gone back to London. She loves it so much there!”
“Oh… oh ok”
“She did tell me that if you wanted to go and live with her you could?”
“Er… I … I think i do Dad!”
“That’s fine, just say goodbye to Graciela first ok?”
“Yeah sure!”
After saying goodbye to his father, he went to his step-mother’s room.
“I’ll miss you mum!”
“I’ll miss you too, honey! Come back and visit anytime!”
“I love you!”
“I love you too”
He got into the waiting taxi and it drove off towards his future.
As he walked through the doors of the busy airport, he looked back into Sunset Valley, the place he had grown up. He smiled before pushing the door open and walked onto the waiting plane.
“Hello?”
“……”
“Yes, he’s on the plane now! It lands at 3.30pm your time!”
“……………”
“Do whatever it takes, and dispose of the body carefully! We don’t want this getting out!”
A plane had just landed in Sunset Valley International. A small, beautiful teenage girl got off the plane and walked through the busy airport. She walked into the basking sun and smiled. Now all she had to do was find her mother.
The Marina Legacy – Chapter 3.3 – Who?
Hey guys! Sorry for the delay of updates! I really far ahead in game now just because I’ve been busy this week and when i haven’t i can’t be bothered to update! So i think i might manage to scrape two or three updates out tonight!
After hours of screaming, Derick’s voice had gone. He had given up all hope of ever being let out of the pit he was being held in. He decided to do the only thing that might keep the ongoing pain and worry away, painting.
After work one evening, it was time for Yorath Ebony to grow up. He had told the rest of his family that his father had decided to leave the family home as he couldn’t stand all of the business and drama. They believed every word that came out of Yorath’s mouth and didn’t dream that their granddad was buried under the kitchen.
With his father trapped in the basement, and his mother dead, Yorath decided it was time to clean out their room for little Xiu Mei. As he walked into the room, he smiled thinking about his father in the smaller and more squashed replica of this room two floors below.
He heard the humming of his mother’s old computer. He sat down in the chair and wiggled to mouse, the screen flicked on and as he dragged the mouse towards the “Shut Down” option, the window open caught his eye. It was his father’s sent email box, but what really drew Yorath in was the sight of his own name. The last email his father sent was to iposey@simnet.com. The email’s subject was “Yorath isn’t telling”. Yorath quickly clicked on the email and tapped his foot on the floor whilst the page loaded, once it was completely loaded, he quickly started to read.
After he finished reading, he deleted the email, turned the computer off, and started to dismantle the room. He would have to wait till he was home alone before he took any action.
The next day, while everyone was out and Xiu Mei was asleep, Yorath went into the kitchen and opened the small trapdoor hidden under the tile. He then walked down 3 sets of metal steps before he arrived at a metal tight door. He opened the door and walked down another set of stairs.
Once he reached the bottom of the stairs, there was another locked trapdoor. He pulled a key from his pocket and took the lock off. He then looked into the hole in the floor. He couldn’t see his father, so he jumped down into the room.
He found his father on the floor in a stone vase. It appeared that the grim reaper had got to him before Yorath. Yorath has furious, his father had died holding the secret of who he had told about Xerxes.
Derick Marina was the dedicated wife of Zoey Nhadra Marina. He was key in the rebuilding of the family after the fire. He earned a heap loads of points for the family and loads of money. He was the first Marina to complete his LTW and earned LTH like there was no tomorrow. In his later life, he became isolated and careless which lead to his capture and early death. We will miss you!
Time flew by, and Xiu Mei’s birthday came around and went in a flash.
Graciela gave Xiu Mei extra lessons in logic, as her daughter loved learning and was always gaining skills.
Xenophilius found the Trilobite Beetle on the beech and quickly ran home to put it in a container.
Not a lot happened over the next few days, Graciela and Xerxes both celebrated their birthdays with the family and the house got on with their daily lives.
Xiu Mei would sometimes go to the library and study and read in peaceful quite.
Yorath played for tips in the park. He gained quite a lot of money now and was getting better at the guitar at the same time.
Xenophilius started writing novels as well as collecting.
Graciela took up jogging to the beach, playing a few games of chess and then jogging back home.
And Xerxes took up painting and exercising.
Xiu Mei’s birthday came by in a flash yet again and she grew into a beautiful teenager.
Now she was a teen, she got rid of Yorath’s over sized garden and started her own smaller garden.
When she wasn’t gardening, painting or reading, she would play chess with her mother to help her improve her logic.
Xerxes became a ladies man. He got his first kiss, the first of this generation, with a girl called Norma. Xenophilius never really thought about relationships, he had his bugs. Xiu Mei was incredibly nervous around boys and didn’t ever speak to them in school.
Xiu Mei’s garden grew a tiny bit every day but she kept it in good condition, tending it after school and before she did her homework.
Xenophilius caught the last of the beetles, the Stag beetle.
Xiu Mei started fishing as she enjoyed it and she could use the fish as fertilizers for her garden.
Xerxes celebrated his birthday a few days later and begun to think about what he wanted to do now he was a young adult.
He eventually decided he wanted to be a heartbreaker, and dumped Norma straight away. She didn’t take it very well.
Graciela kept working really hard on both her logic and athletic skill, doing both every day.
That’s where this chapter end guys! The next one will be in up in about an hour!
Sorry for the boringness of this one, but i promise some big plots start to arise in the next chapter and will continue for the next few.
